Give Them Their Flowers

Too many times we say goodbye to friends and love ones, far too soon and without really having said just how much they mean to us. This program is designed to recognize and demonstrate our love and appreciation for those who mean the most.

Christian Living

Living a Christian life is the most natural thing a Christian can do. It is simply allowing the “Christ-influenced” character and spirit that is in us, to express itself in every area of our life. This is what is meant by a ”holistic approach” to life. It simply means that a person works to maintain a good balance between mind, body and soul. Although each of us at one time or another suffers from an imbalance that affects us, God’s word teaches us how to recalibrate and maintain a balance both within and without.

(3 John 1:2“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”)

WHAT WE BELIEVE

About the Bible

The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living. (See II Timothy 3:15-17.)

About God

There is one God, who has revealed Himself as our Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man. (See Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 3:16.)

About Sin and Salvation

Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (See Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9.)

About The Gospel

The saving gospel is the “good news” that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel (II Thessalonians 1:8; I Peter 4:17) by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidential utterance of tongue as inspired by the Spirit.(resurrection). (I Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4.)-

Jesus Christ is coming again to “rapture”-catch away, His church.
Afterwards will be the final resurrection and the final judgment.
The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death.
(See I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15.)

CHURCH PHILOSOPHY

Eph.5:27  That he might present unto himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such things; but that it should be holy and blameless.

In this scripture the Apostle Paul tells us that when the Lord returns, He is expecting the Church-(Body of Christ), to be in a specific state of readiness. In order to accomplish this, He put in place a specific system of development and perfecting. We believe this system is referred to as the “Five-fold ministry”

Eph. 4:11 And he gave some, apostle; and some prophets; and some evangelist; and somepastors and teachers. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto to a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

We believe that the Five-Fold Ministry, represents “the hand of God” in the church today. This is the hand that performs the work that He desires in this world today.
